Chatbase is an analytics platform by Google, designed to help users better understand the effectiveness of their chatbots. The free, cloud-based tool lets you integrate your bots into the analytics platform, allowing you to both analyze and optimize your bots.
Similarly to respond.io, you aren’t confined to a single channel with Chatbase. It’s designed to be a cross-platform bot analytics tool, so you can see how your bot is fairing across all of your different marketing channels. This helps you determine whether a particular channel needs to be better optimized.
In order to get started with connecting Chatbase to your space, you will need the following:
A space on the respond.io platform, preferably integrated to Dialogflow
A Google account
Step 1: Sign in to Chatbase Sign in with your user credentials at Chatbase
Step 2: Add a bot Press Add a bot on the My bots page.
Step 3: Fill in the required information Fill in the necessary fields and press Continue to retrieve your API key.
Step 4: Copy the API key Copy the API key as you will need it to connect Chatbase with respond.oi
Copy this API Key onto your clipboard as you will need it later.
Step 1: Navigate to respond.io Integrations Login to respond.io with your user account and navigate to Settings > Integrations
Step 2: Locate Chatbase Search for Chatbase and press Connect
Step 3: Paste the API key Paste the API key from Chatbase and press Connect to integrate with Chatbase
Now, you have integrated Chatbase to respond.io and you should be able to start observing data feeding into your Chatbase.
